What a delightful place to stay! The cottage is charming & faultless, from the beautiful d├ęcor down to the comfort factor. The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. What a treat for us on the Sunday night when we returned quite late (about 10.30ish) and saw deer bounding around in the wheat field, added to that was the clear sky which gave us the opportunity to see the breath taking amount of stars, including shooting stars. Thanks for everything Heather & Richard.

p.s The Anvil ....yum, yum!

We've had a great time here in a tranquil setting with lovely weather. Topaz Cottage is very well appointed but also cozy, and we've also enjoyed sitting in the Pod as the sun goes down. We failed to learn cribbage, but succeeded in visiting many fun places, including Whitby, York, Scarborough, Robin Hood's Bay and the Birds of Prey Centre. Thanks for a lovely holiday!

Great cottage with lots of things to do in the area. We enjoyed visiting Whitby and we saw seals in Ravenscar, which was very exciting. We loved the Pod and managed to sit up in it every night! Thank you for providing us this house for the week - it was a very good base! Family from Market Harborough.

Lovely cottage with everything you need for a great holiday. We enjoyed the Pod with good views of the sunset. The boys found the field good for football and frizzbee with no hazards to effect their games. Mum, Nan & 2 boys from Nottingham.

A really lovely cottage and fantastic grounds - thank you for a great break. Willow (the retriever) loved playing in the large field. Great base for exploring. We really loved Cayton Beach and Filey beach- the kids and the dog had a great time. The Grapes Inn was a really nice pub, fab food and dog friendly.

We have had a lovely 2 weeks here. The weather was very disappointing but this house and its amazing gardens have more than made up for it. The attention to detail in the house is second to none. We have enjoyed our days out in the surrounding areas and the children have loved every minute. We don't want to leave! Hope to return again very soon. (and will be back for half term)
