Thank you Richard & Heather for an absolutely wonderful cottage, no need to bring anything next time. What a place, so peaceful. We could live here for the rest of our lives, and we thank you for all the information in Amber Cottage file, we could go on and on about the place so one more time thank you both. (Hope to see you next year!)

Fantastic cottage in lovely surroundings. Gardens are outstanding. Dalby Forest great for dog walking, cycling, wild life. Will definitely be back.

Lovely quiet relaxing location. Ideal for wheelchair user - every detail well thought out. Mixed weather but enjoyed Pickering, Whitby, the Moors, Scarborough, Bridlington. Gardens beautiful, enjoyed the wildlife. Thank you for your help with the arrangements - appreciated. See you again!

Best place we have stayed in. We loved the peace & quiet. Our favourite things this holiday were - Malton for shops - Helmsley for the Walled Garden and quirky café - Falling Foss for its tearoom and waterfall - Denison Arms for the food and Robin Hoods Bay for the steep walk back to the car park.

We had a fabulous week at Opal Cottage, despite the wet weather! We enjoyed visiting Bempton Cliffs, Filey, The Birds of Prey Centre at Helmsley and walks across the Moors and the coast. Basin Howe Farm is a beautiful place to stay and the cottage is perfect. We hope to be back in Yorkshire soon!

This (Amber) was chosen to suit a disabled person and was indeed very good for myself. We loved the location and had some of our meals up in the Globe. My mobility had improved from the time of booking so I was able to negotiate the stairs up to the Globe. The area is outstanding and the variety of birds seen at the cottage was amazing and the wildlife - Hares, Pheasants, deer, the North Yorks Moors Railway a must see, All in All a Lovely Holiday, THANKS!

All in all a lovely holiday, Stayed in Amber Cottage, July 2017

Idea for G....'s needs of care. Just like being at home. Everyone very friendly and the cottage spotless. Would definitely make a return.
